I can certainly help you out with that one. If you want to try a new and unique place in Singapore to spend time with your family or friends -- to have some cakes and pastries, you should go to Lady M Cafe in Orchard Central.
Out of curiosity, I did find the best time to visit this cafe with my friends. I have learned that this cafe serves the best cakes and that they have deliveries too!
The place is cozy and hip. They did pretty well with their interiors. I can still remember there are marbles around, which really created that elegant and splendid ambiance. Plus, it is at the prime spot for all shoppaholics, because after you have taken your sweet delights, all you have to do is step out and you're at the best place to shop in Singapore!
Their cakes aren't really that pricey. I find it reasonable and worth it. And also, it is the finest!
I tried their Gateau Aux Marrons and it tastes amazing. This is actually not my first option, but because the Red Velvet cake was already sold out, so I tried this one instead.
My friends, on the other hand, tried out the Strawberry Shortcake.
They do serve wide variations of teas, coffees and other drinks too!
While we were there, there were a lot of people in the cafe, but surprisingly, the place isn't that noisy. You'd still get a cozy feeling. It is indeed an excellent place to have long conversations.
Their cakes are definitely the best and I am convinced that they are world class.
Lady M Cafe has outlets too outside Singapore. They have boutiques in New York, Boston, Chicago, Southern California, Hongkong, Macau, Taipei, Beijing and more.
So if you are planning to try some of the best cakes in town, you know where to go! :)
